Polyester Webbing Slings
The polyester webbing slings with reinforced eyes at both sides are manufactured as per BS 3481 part 1 & Part 2 1983. The safety factor is 7:1.
Salient Features
- Polyester round sling is superior quality, conforming to BS 6668 PART 2,1987 material construction of sling is 100% polyester yarn hank wound continuously together in the form of the endless sling.
- The Safety Factor is 7:1.
- It is a double sleeve type.
- The yarn hank provides better protection and longer service life with greater resistance to wear and damage using suitable outer sleeve on the polyester yarn hank.
Properties of Slings
- It is of low weight, non-corrosive, good resistance to heat, excellent electrical insulation properties and good chemical resistance as per specified standard
- Working temperature range -40 deg. C to + 100 deg. C
- It does not have any fiber optic core
- It will not create sparks in explosive or hazardous environments
- The maximum elongation permitted is only 2.5% at WLL
- Safety Factor for Sling is minimum 7:1
- Each sling carries a tag-indicating sling number, type, WLL load test date
- Suitable for choked lift (choked mode) also
Flat Web Slings: These synthetic slings are made from polyester material & have higher safety factor of 1: 6 & 1:7. The lightweight of the slings combined with superb flexibility allows safe handling during operation. Our manufactured slings absorb and minimize the effects of heavy sock loads. These are ideal to lift polished, fragile or delicate loads, and have longer life since these are unaffected by moisture, mildew, rot & certain chemicals. These are provided in single & multiple bridles in capacity of 1 ton to 30 ton and confirm BS 3481 Part-II, with test certificate. Our company manufactures simplex, duplex, triplex & four ply webbing slings in varied capacity as per requirements.
Round Endless Slings: Round slings are made of 100% polyester yarns hanks wound in the form of endless sling with upper protection sleeve of polyester fabric. All round endless slings manufactured by us are economical & adaptable with no fixed wear points, light in weight, have higher safety factor, non corrosive. These are available in capacity from 1 ton to 100 ton. These slings are color coded following the international standard & confirm to BS 6668 Part-II, available with original manufacturer’s test certificate.
Anti Abrasives Sleeves: Our manufactured anti abrasive & anti cutting heavy-duty sleeves enhances the life of the slings and prevents damage to the job and sling from any point - sharp edges. Abrasion protection requires a wear pad to protect a length of sling from exposure to a wide abrasive surface such as concrete. Our heavy duty- anti abrasive sleeves protects slings from rough abrasive surfaces and prolongs sling life. These are provided either in clip- on from (with Velcro attachments) or sewn onto the length of sling required. These are also arranged without stitches for flexibility.
